Our initiatives
Besides the contribution the association makes in supporting worthy initiatives, another important part of the work we do is to launch and carry out our own initiatives. These projects are usually of a smaller time frame than the ones we support financially, and ordinarily focuses on notable key issues. Read more below.
Reverse the perspective
In the work group Zoom Circle, we teach young people to produce films. The idea is to let young people in socially strained areas tell their own stories, instead of letting others dictate the perception of their home.
A group of young people in Mjølnerparken, Urbanplanen and Tingbjerg participate in Zoom Circle where they film their lives, dreams and hopes. In the project, young people speak out about their lives, their circumstances and the prejudices they face. Zoom Circle is here so that more young people can tell their own story and so that more will listen.
